Top Things To Do In Vancouver
If you are looking for an adventurous trip with mother nature or looking for a getaway that involves inspiration surrounding outdoor activities, then you will fall in love with Vancouver! Vancouver was one of the first cities that I traveled alone at age 22, with not knowing anything of the city or overall the country, yet became a memorial journey that I got to endure. Having Vancouver as a small city for my first solo destination made it easy for me to navigate and explore easier than a city that is overpopulated or a city that doesn't have reliable transit.
Traveling alone at a destination that I was unaware of nor not knowing anyone from the destination made it an exciting challenge for myself to step out of my comfort zone and challenge my navigation skills with leadership and communication. Thankfully Canada is also known for its friendliness within its communities of the cities and proving a safe space for tourists to ask for guidance and assistance, which I was easily able to do within Vancouver's communities. Stepping out of my comfort zone allowed me to explore parks, local restaurants with diverse cuisines, indoor attractions, outside activities, such as Capilano Suspension Bridge, and much more! Hopefully, you find some inspiration and motivation to go out and explore with my list of top things to do in Vancouver!
For the short period of time that I was in Vancouver, I was able to visit and explore Stanley Park, Granville Island, Capilano Road, Gastown, Queen Elizabeth Park, Lions Gate Bridge, and much more! The first 5 categories on my list are based on activities that you are able to enjoy with and the last 5 categories are food recommendations that are vegan and gluten-free friendly.
