Alkaline Vegan Spelt Blueberry Pancakes
Ingredients that will you need:
Recipe yields up to 6-10 servings.
- 1 1/2 cup of Spelt Flour
- 1/2 cup of Garbanzo Bean Flour
- 1 cup of Nut Mylk (Walnut mylk recommended for thickness)
- 1/2 cup of Agave
- 1/2 cup of Blueberries (optional)
- Grapeseed oil (optional)
- Dash of Himalayan Sea Salt
- 2 teaspoons of Hempseeds
- 1 tablespoon of Sea moss for a thickening agent (optional)
*other alternatives for fluffiness = chia seeds, flax seeds, baking powder, sparkling water
Directions:
- Heat up your stove and adjust the heat setting to a medium heat and place skillet to preheat
- Mix your dry ingredients first; spelt flour, garbanzo bean flour, salt
- Mix your wet ingredients; nut mylk, agave, sea moss(or preferred thickening agent), and blueberries
- Mix all ingredients until the batter has reached into a consistency that is not lumpy but not too liquidy
- Lightly pour cooking oil on a skillet and pour the batter
- Cook for 2-5 minutes, and flip pancake until you see bubbles on the surface
- Repeat the process and lastly enjoy your pancakes!
*if cooking without oil, reduce heat down to low heat and cook for 5-10 minutes, or until you see bubbles rise on the surface.
