Homemade Alkaline Electric Hemp Milk (Mylk)

Homemade Alkaline Electric Hemp Milk (Mylk) 



Ingredients that will you need:

 Recipe yields up to 2 cups of servings. 


  • 2 1/2 tablespoons of Hempseeds
  • Water
  • Himalayan Sea Salt
  • Agave or Date Syrup
  • Black Sesame Seeds (optional for "chocolate mylk")
  • Blender


Directions:


  1. Pour in all ingredients in the blender
  2. Turn on the blender, and blend for roughly 2 minutes or so, until you have seen a white color consistency
  3. Strain mylk to remove excess seeds(optional)
  4. Store mylk in the refrigerator to chill
  5. Lastly, pour yourself a glass, and enjoy! 
*homemade mylk will last roughly 3-5 days in the refrigerator
*Hempseeds can be replaced with your choice of nuts if preferred another taste

Alkaline Vegan Fried Mushrooms and Waffles

Alkaline Vegan Fried Mushrooms and Waffles





Ingredients that will you need:

 Recipe yields up to roughly 1-2 servings. 


Waffle Ingredients:


  • 2 cups of teff flour
  • 1 1/2 cup of walnut mylk
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 tablespoon sea moss (optional)
  • 1/4 cup of Agave
  • 1 teaspoon of Grapeseed Oil
  • Waffle Maker



Mushroom Preparation:

  • 2-3 bundle of Oyster Mushrooms
  • 1/2 cup of Garbanzo Bean Flour
  • 1/2 cup of Spelt flour
  • 2/3 cups of leftover waffle batter
  • 1 teaspoon of Himalayan Sea Salt
  • 1 teaspoon of Cayenne
  • 1 teaspoon of Basil
  • 1 teaspoon of Oregano
  • 1 teaspoon of Thyme
  • 1 teaspoon of Ginger Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of Paprika
  • 2 teaspoons of Onion Powder



Directions:



  1. Begin to prep your waffles, by preheating your waffle maker and lightly putting oil on the waffle maker
  2. Begin to make your waffle batter by mixing your flour ingredients with your wet ingredients in a large bowl, and make sure to set aside a smaller bowl for leftover waffle batter for the fried mushrooms.
  3. Once the batter is thoroughly mixed, pour the batter into the waffle maker and cook for 5-10 minutes. *(Teff flour will take longer to cook than other flours, also make sure to check the waffle maker cooking instructions for best results.)
  4. Begin to wash mushrooms and remove the base from the bundle
  5. In a bowl mix your mushroom seasonings with garbanzo bean and spelt flour, and set aside
  6. Grab your remaining waffle batter, and mix in your mushroom seasonings as well  
  7. Grab a container with a lid and add the flour and seasonings in it, and add your mushrooms in it
  8. Close the lid and gently shake the containers, then transfer the coated mushrooms into the waffle batter
  9. Heat up your skillet into medium heat and lightly pour 2-3 tablespoons of oil, add mushrooms
  10. Let mushrooms cook for 2-4 minutes on each side, and set aside on (*mushrooms can also be baked on a baking sheet in the oven at 400 degrees for 15-25 minutes)
  11. Once mushrooms are cooked, place mushrooms on top of your waffle and top it off with agave and crushed pepper for a sweet and savory taste balance.

Ingredients that will you need:

 Recipe yields up to 6-10 servings. 


  • 1 1/2 cup of Spelt Flour 
  • 1/2 cup of Garbanzo Bean Flour
  • 1 cup of Nut Mylk (Walnut mylk recommended for thickness)
  • 1/2 cup of Agave
  • 1/2 cup of Blueberries (optional)
  • Grapeseed oil (optional)
  • Dash of Himalayan Sea Salt
  • 2 teaspoons of Hempseeds
  • 1 tablespoon of Sea moss for a thickening agent (optional)

*other alternatives for fluffiness = chia seeds, flax seeds, baking powder, sparkling water

Directions:


  1. Heat up your stove and adjust the heat setting to a medium heat and place skillet to preheat
  2. Mix your dry ingredients first; spelt flour, garbanzo bean flour, salt
  3. Mix your wet ingredients; nut mylk, agave, sea moss(or preferred thickening agent), and blueberries
  4. Mix all ingredients until the batter has reached into a consistency that is not lumpy but not too liquidy
  5. Lightly pour cooking oil on a skillet and pour the batter
  6. Cook for 2-5 minutes, and flip pancake until you see bubbles on the surface
  7. Repeat the process and lastly enjoy your pancakes!

 *if cooking without oil, reduce heat down to low heat and cook for 5-10 minutes, or until you see bubbles rise on the surface.
